Business Plan Services in association with London Business School invites you to apply for up to £10,000 of support under the practical and dynamic Knowledge Connect programme.

The Knowledge Connect programme is designed to help London's businesses grow and prosper by connecting them to the knowledge and expertise of the City's universities, colleges and research organisations.

This funded programme provides a fantastic opportunity for businesses to develop new products, services and markets and for knowledgebase organisations to put their expertise to practical and commercial use.

What is Knowledge Connect?

• A 3-year, £3.7m programme running to March 2011
• To benefit 1,600 businesses

What is it for?

• To access funded support services worth up to £10,000 from a Knowledge-based organisation such as Business Plan Services in association with London Business School

Who is it for?

• Primarily available to London-based businesses with between 4 and 50 employees that have not previously benefited from knowledgebase support.
• Most sectors qualify as long as the business can demonstrate an innovative approach to new opportunities or challenges e.g. looking to develop new products, services, processes or markets,

What services are available?

• Collaboration vouchers are available for qualifying businesses to help fund their work with the knowledgebase in two ways:
• £3,000 Mini Voucher, typically to support testing of proof of concept, strategic or technical development, or market investigation,
• £10,000 Maxi Voucher, to be matched by the beneficiary business, supporting more in-depth work, such as research and development of new products, services or markets, prototyping, or software development, testing and validation.
