Executive Business Plan Programme
Business Plan Services in association with London Business School invites you to participate in its Executive
Business Plan Programme, designed to give YOU the skills and know-how to evaluate opportunities
available to your business to support its growth.
The Programme provides a 3-stage agenda to improve your business planning and business plan writing
skills...for which 100% funding is available from the Learning and Skills Council.
The Programme is specifically aimed at key owners/managers responsible for the direction of an organisation,
including private, franchise, public and voluntary bodies employing between 5 and 249 staff.
What is the Executive Business Plan Programme?
- A 3-stage training programme, comprising the following:-
- A foundation business plan writing workshop exploring the key components of a 'perfect' business plan; followed by
- An advanced business plan workshop reviewing real-life case study business plans and delegates' business plans; culminating in
- A one-to-one consultancy session lasting up to 90 minutes to address the needs of individual business plans and create an action plan for implementation.
Who is the Executive Business Plan Programme for?
- Senior management of businesses with more than 5 employees based in London
- Businesses which want to grow
- Businesses which want to communicate their growth strategy with employees and/or raise funding
Where/when is the Programme held?
- Stage 1 is held at The British Library once each month from 10am to 1.30pm
- Stage 2 is held at The British Library every quarter from 10am to 1.30pm
- Stage 3 takes place at a mutually convenient date and time at Business Plan Services' office
How much does the Programme cost?
- The cost of the programme is £500 + VAT per person
- Funding is available to eligible businesses under the Learning and Skills Council’s Leadership and Management programme.
What are the criteria for eligibility for funding support to cover the cost of the Programme?
To be eligible for funding to cover the cost of the Programme your organisation must:
- Employ between 5 and 249 people (this can include full or part time as well as volunteers)
- Be based in London
- Not already have received Leadership & Management funding support (under Train to Gain)
NOTE: Funding was previously unavailable to businesses that had attained the Investor in People standard.
Now funding is available irrespective of whether you have the standard or not.
How do I apply for funding for the Executive Business Plan Programme?
- Contact Michael Anderson at Business Plan Services (michael.anderson@bizplans.co.uk or 0845 057 4065)
- A specialist adviser will call you to determine and confirm your eligibility for funding to cover the costs of the Programme
- You will complete an online diagnostic
- You will provide payment details for the Programme
- The specialist adviser will be present at the foundation business plan writing workshop to meet you and to prepare the paperwork to confirm your application for funding
- Your payment is processed to complete the application
- You proceed with stages 2 and 3 of the Programme
- You apply for reimbursement of the £500 cost of the Executive Business Plan Programme as soon as you have completed all 3 stages of it. (The VAT element is not reclaimable under the grant although should be an eligible input VAT item).
