Entrepreneur Alert – The Olympics are Coming!

An online Business Zone article reviewed the importance of small business in 2011, and projected the outlook for 2012. One of the statements from this article noted that the coming Olympic Games could offer some opportunities.

Going on to say that, “For the clever entrepreneur there are near limitless profits to be made, if they can navigate around the IOC’s trademark minefield.”

There are actually entire blogs devoted to how to make money from the London Olympics, such as this one on MSN Money. Some of the ideas surround items like renting out your home, or a room in your home. Something worth checking out. Renting out your home could give you some seed money for another business. Just an idea.

But spend some time, search what was done in Vancover, Salt Lake City and some of the other cities who have hosted Olympics. There will all those people looking for a place to stay, something to do, directions to these places, and always…something to eat and drink. Not to mention they will want to do lots of shopping.

If you have a good idea, work fast. The Olympics begin in July!
